3 September 2012
Jakarta – Kuala Lumpur – Incheon
Upon arrival to the airport. We immediately checked in our ticket and three luggages for baggage services. We brought 3 big backpacks that 2 of them equipped with wheels. All the luggages have been wrapped up with plastic to avoid water during trip or transport to Incheon airport. Our luggages were tagged KLIA with transfer to Incheon Korea.

Terminal 3 is the latest terminal that is dedicated for low cost airlines such as Air Asia and Mandala Airline. The terminal is designed with eco-friendly architecture that emphasize on the use of sunlight instead of artificial lamp. As consequences of eco-friendly terminal design, the check in and boarding room area are felt warmer than other terminal buildings. Since this terminal is only used by Air Asia, Tiger Airways, and Mandala Air, imigration officer is not too busy in comparison to Terminal 2 in Soekarno Hatta Airport, no queue was experienced.
Our journey was started at 19.00 PM (GMT+7) when our Indonesia Air Asia Airbus 320(QZ7696) departed from Soekarno Hatta International Airport – Terminal 3 – Jakarta. On the plane, we enjoyed 1 Nasi Padang menu from Air Asia. Nasi Padang is one of great Air Asia menu beside of Nasi Lemak. Nasi Padang only available in Indonesia Air Asia (QZ).

At 22.00 PM (GMT+8), Our plane landed safely at Kuala Lumpur International Airport – Low Cost Carrier Terminal. After get off from the plane, we walked through the corridor to the transfer desk. We queued up for  re-check in boarding pass for flight to Incheon – Korea. After completed check-in, we directly went to waiting room for all Air Asia flights. We spent some Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) that we brought from Jakarta to buy some flu medicines, drinks, and candies. Finally, we departed from KLIA-LCCT to Incheon at 1.00 AM (4 September 2012) by using Airbus 330 Air Asia X flight (D7 - 506).

KLIA-LCCT Boarding Room

During flight, the weather was not so good due to heavy rain outside that cause bumpy flight. We have pre-booked 3 meals for this flight: 2 Kimchi Chicken (to train our tongue for Korean Taste) and 1 Nasi Lemak (for meat eater). No entertainment during the flight, it was quite boring. The only entertainment on flight was toilet indicator that keep on turning from green-red-green-red again throughout the flight.
